1. What We Do

Sweeper AI ("Sweeper") is an inbox cleaning service powered by Broom RI. It connects to your Gmail account via Google OAuth 2.0 to scan, classify, and archive unwanted emails on your behalf.

2. Data We Collect

• Email address — from Google sign-in, used to identify your account.
• OAuth tokens — to access Gmail API on your behalf. Stored encrypted on our server.
• Email metadata — sender, subject line, and snippet text are read for classification. We do NOT store full email content.
• User preferences — junk/VIP sender lists you create are stored to personalize your experience.
• Payment information — processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Scan and classify your emails as spam, promotion, or important.
• Archive (not delete) emails you choose to clean.
• Remember your junk and VIP sender preferences.
• Process payments via Stripe.

We do NOT:

• Read the full body of your emails.
• Sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties.
• Use your email content for advertising.
• Train AI models on your email data.
• Delete any emails — we only archive (remove from Inbox). All emails remain in Gmail's All Mail.

4. Gmail API Scopes

Sweeper requests the following Google API scopes:

• gmail.readonly — to list and read email metadata for classification.
• gmail.modify — to archive emails by removing the INBOX label.
• userinfo.email — to identify your account.

Sweeper's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on a secured server hosted by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. OAuth tokens are stored in an encrypted database. All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Email metadata is processed in real-time and not permanently stored.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time by:

• Revoking Sweeper's access at Google Account Permissions.
• Contacting us to request full account deletion.

Upon revocation or deletion request, all stored tokens, preferences, and account data are permanently deleted.

8. Third-Party Services

• Google Gmail API — email access and classification.
• Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• ElevenLabs — voice synthesis for Broom AI agent (optional).
• Anthropic — AI classification via Claude (email metadata only, no full content).

9. Children's Privacy

Sweeper is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
