The desk keeps the people and the follow-ups in front of you, so the text that was a lead does not get buried under the ones that were not.

Works on Android 8 and newer. Your number, your SIM, your plan: InboxAxe adds the intelligence, not a new line. Switching back to your old texting app is one tap in Android settings, and your texts stay on the phone either way.
Apple lets no app read or send texts, so there is no InboxAxe app for iPhone and there never will be one from anybody. Instead, a built-in Shortcuts automation forwards every incoming text to your desk. Four steps, about two minutes, your number stays exactly where it is.
Replies stay one tap: your RI drafts the answer, Send from my phone opens Messages with it filled in, you tap send. Apple does not allow sending without that tap. Want zero-tap sending from the desk on iPhone? A spare Android with your SIM, or ask us about a hosted business number.
No. They text your normal phone number and get a normal text back. Only the phone that holds your number runs the app.
No. The app sends from the SIM already in the phone, so there is no 10DLC registration, no new number and no per-message vendor. A registered business number is available later if you outgrow one phone.
Not yet, so Android treats it like any app from a website: Chrome warns about the file type (tap Download anyway), Android asks you to allow installs from Chrome once, and Play Protect may say "Unsafe app blocked" because it has not scanned the app on Play yet (More details → Install anyway). The app is release-signed by ZagAIrot Technologies LLC, built from open source, and talks only to InboxAxe's relay. The Play listing is in progress and will remove these prompts.
No app can read or send texts on iPhone, so the iPhone forwards them itself: a built-in Shortcuts automation posts each incoming text to your desk. Nothing to install, number untouched, four steps (see above). Replies are one tap through Messages.
The app is an open-source Apache-2.0 fork of SMSGate. It talks only to InboxAxe's own relay over HTTPS: incoming texts go to your desk, and outgoing texts come from your desk after you tap Send. Nothing else. Your consent to let InboxAxe learn from your texts is off by default.
